Put the Contact Lenses in the Cold Storeroom

My friend was a fashionable girl; she always tried different kinds of new things before many others. Sometimes, when I talked with her, I came to know many modern products which had just came to the market. Recently, she began to try a new kind of contact lenses.
As is generally known, when the contact lenses were worn for a long period at one time, the eyes may feel uncomfortable. So she often took off the contact lenses after she returned home from the outside. But one thing was very puzzling at least for me; she put the lenses into the medicinal liquid and then put the little box into the storeroom of the refrigerator.
When I asked her about this, she told me much knowledge about how to protect the contact lenses. She said that as it was in the summer, the weather was very comfortable for the birth and living of the different kinds of bacteria in the atmosphere. And the contact lenses were very easily infected by the bacteria actually. Whenever there was some unhealthy thing on the lenses, it might do harm to the eyes.
So she chose to put the contact into the storeroom of the refrigerator, together with the medicinal liquid. As it was not likely to give birth to various kinds of bacteria in the cold atmosphere, this method seemed to be effective.
She also added that when it was time to take the contact lenses out again, we should always try to clean the lenses’ surface carefully. It was not very healthy to put on them directly after taking out them from the refrigerator. The process of killing the bacteria should still take place.
When I heard this, the first thing that came into my mind is that it was sincerely complicated for me. This kind of thing was probably only designed for those like my friend.
